Our solid scantlings are produced with rift and semi-rift cutting. This specific sawing technique ensures that the annual growth rings run nearly perpendicular to the surface, providing excellent dimensional stability and reducing the risk of cracking. These rift and semi-rift scantlings are used wherever dimensional stability is essential, such as in window and door manufacturing.
In contrast to lamellas, our solid scantlings are supplied directly to window manufacturers without lamination and are ready for processing.
